The answer is yes, xaomi devices do actually come with google apps on global roms. china roms still do require one little extra work to actually run play store

I thought Ultra also has the Clone camera mode like Pro? The video suggest that this is unique in Pro, not in Ultra.

Mine does become warm when streaming videos on 5G, recording videos or just using the camera app for some time.

Hi anyone bought their xiaomi ultra 13 from the xiaomi shoppe shop based in HK/China?

Need to confirm whether warranty is applicable for SG?

Also can Google location be enabled? Timeline history can be tracked as well?

Depends on cable, and what % you start charging, Most of the time, difference between 50W and above is pretty minimal unless you charge from flat or very low %.

Then must be the G1 chip. That's controlling the charging.

Hi guys. need some urgent help here. Got the Xiaomi 13 ultra today,
1) battery life is terrible. Drop 10% in half an hour.
2) Phone is very warm, I was only just setting up my phone.
3) Google location history cannot be turned on at all. I can't checked the box for my device. 'There was a problem getting this setting. Please try again later.' Pretty sure this is a global set, as I got it from reputable shop locally. This is very frustrating. I can still see the timeline history but I just can't turn on the location history for this device at all, I already turn on all the access for Google map.

Congrats on getting the 13 Ultra.

For (3), it could be the MIUI hardcoded restriction/privacy protection.

I mentioned it in another thread related to Mate 20 Pro.

I am not bothered anyway because why should I send my personal location data to Google/Xiaomi 24/7?

Is there anyway to get around it? Cos I was told by the Xiaomi staff that it will work that's why I got this phone.

Based on my research, it was disabled in one of the MIUI updates a few years ago.

I'm not familiar with 13 Ultra. You might want to bring it to the service center to try
