Got the phone for a day now.

Not a fan of the hard plastic case, gonna need to find a replacement soon

Heats up really fast when charging, even when only pushing 20W from the Apple charger.

Performance really smooth, haven't been able to push the chipset too much yet, except during setup turned on performance mode to speed up app installs and updates.

Probably getting the kit tomorrow.

I shot in pro at 23mm for that photo mainly to see how well the 1inch sensor performed uncropped.

From XM's 13 marketing blurb

The master-lens system, a software feature, provides great focal length and depth of field for capturing perfect portraits.

When in auto mode..the 13U picks different lens and adjusts accordingly...annoys me at times..mostly during food taking pics. But some results better than my own framing.

Most of them by right only after x days of activation. I think they want to avoid situation of a 1 for 1 exchange or refund then you can activate again.

can i confirm with everyone there's no lens cap?

Yeah don't have.. I think they remove since 14u as I didn't have it on my 14u too.

very! ok with size when using it to take pics during trips and using the filter..but not daily use.

I read that ultrasonic sensor doesn't go well with tempered glass SP... something like that.

if snap on the hard case from the photography kit, does the wireless charging still work?

Is it the same tech as Huawei p30 pro long ago? I had one last time and had no issues

Oh I used this for my old Huawei p30 pro and it worked very well

Trying to see how close the gap between the 1 inch sensor optics vs 35mm full frame ( 1 inch Lyt 900 is about 15% size of full frame )

Since smartphone aperture is stuck at f1.63, the full frame was captured at f4 ( roughly the same equivalent dof ) Still admirably resolves though contrast takes a big hit, slight double image.

it is possible to turn off AI camera for xiaomi 15U. edges start to have some halo.

full frames looks more grainy.
