Tried switching cables.

Only Xiaomi charger and compatible fast USB C cables can trigger "90W fast charge" indicator on 15 Ultra.

Other cables can only trigger 30W charging max.

why would 3rd party cable works with 3rd party charger when even original xiaomi cable couldn't?

It's all about the handshakes basically. Your phone and the charger have to talk to and understand each other so they don't end up "killing" each other. Basically, this cuktech cable has an addtional chip acting as middleman/translator to negotiate the correct voltage and amperes, such cables or converters have been quite common in TB actually, but I think I rather trust Cuktech/Zmi hahaha.

so far tested on my vivo x fold 3 pro, xiaomi 15 ultra, my wife oppo find x8 pro and my in law samsung s25+, all will trigger their respective fast charging, but i think only xiaomi and samsung give full speed, the rest giving maybe 50-80% of the max speed
