ah gui got two questions
1) is it possible to play music without opening the music app? i used to be able to pair my BT earpiece, tap on the earpiece and music plays, this is on my huawei phone but xiaomi like cannot?
2) how can i just close selected opened apps instead of closing all? (okay learned this liao)
Anyone uses NFC payment on MRT/buses? Is it easy to read? I had Mi10T pro, not very sensitive. Want to check if there is any improvment on latest model.
hmmm so i must keep the app open?1) Music playlist does not auto play when Bluetooth is connected to my headphone.
Need to open app to play. Native music app, Spotify etc. I am not sure if there is a setting on app to allow that.
Works for me on buses and train station gantries. Might be slightly better than my previous pixel.
hmmm so i must keep the app open?
Huawei music player can do that
i close the music player app and music stops liaoYou can close the app or turn off the screen of the phone, it will still play.
i close the music player app and music stops liao
oh so cannot like run secretly in the background ah?Oh ok I think I know what you mean.
I just tried.
When you clear all programs the music app gets cleared from memory and music is cut off. My usual Poweramp and Spotify also shuts off when killed from memory.
I think u have to leave it running at the background.
oh so cannot like run secretly in the background ah?
my previous Huawei player can just play without opening the app so was wondering why xiaomi cannot
okay i think i found a music player app that can play while i closed the appBut you still can switch to chrome and surf while the music app is playing at the background.
I guess maybe different OS ? Huawei doesn close all apps and runs music app despite you killing apps from memory.
can try locking app to prevent it from closing.
go recent app, move down the app u want to lock, u should be see lock displayed above the app. to unlock just move up
so far so good no issue using nfc, i have full camera kit on daily.Anyone uses NFC payment on MRT/buses? Is it easy to read? I had Mi10T pro, not very sensitive. Want to check if there is any improvment on latest model.

hi all,
been using 15 ultra for more than a month now... have two questions need ya advice.
1. the battery doesn't seem to be good, to be honest. I'm on the battery protection mode so it charges to 80% max. but strangely, sometimes despite that, it'll charge above 80%, even above 90%. seems like a bug? and, every time, within 1 minute after plugging out, it'll drop 1% immediately (say from 80% to 79%) even when I'm not doing anything with the phone. do ya experience the same?
generally, the phone does not seem to be able to last one whole day. I have to charge every single day - and I don't watch videos or play games on the phone. only mostly browsing and IG.
any tips on how to better improve the battery life? I'm also hesitant to turn off notifications since that's one of the reasons I move away from China ROM phones which I know is aggressive in terms of saving battery by turning off notifications and killing apps in the background.
2. the factory-pasted screen protector kena a bit of scratching liao. I like the original SP because it's thin and smooth. can I go back to the xiaomi shop to ask them to paste back another factory screen protector? or do ya recommend any good SP for this (oleophobic and smooth)? note: I'm not good at pasting so I will always go to a 3rd party shop to paste but yeah... it's quite expensive each time.
thanks very much
