How u like the phone? How much u pay in sgd?
At the time i bought the phone, the exchange rate was about x3.1. So it's probably around S$1065 converted. Selling away that free tablet would get you below S$1k for the phone. I felt it's worth it since i get 1TB over the 512GB here in Singapore. But be aware 17T pro has no international warranty.
For Xiaomi/Redmi phones, i've been using them since they launched flash sales in Singapore. So i'm pretty familiar with Miui / HyperOS interface, and how to switch off their ads. My only peeve in the past was the OS's aggressive memory management which keep killing background apps. But so far so good on this one.
Daily use for me is mainly social media browsing, messaging, gacha gaming, and taking quick scenery + food photos. I don't have any complaints on those. Battery wise, I'd just put it to charge on 3rd day.
One feature which some ppl might not care about using. But Xiaomi has this reading mode feature which adds a Paper like Texture to the screen. I find this especially comfortable to use before my bedtime. The screen on the 17T pro also has DC like dimming, which could be better for those sensitive to PWM dimming. You can google up Eyecare, Oled and pwm dimming if you're interested on the topic.
