Think xiaomi nowadays seldom do clearance sale in SG. Those left over stocks probably they just keep for special occasions like new store opening etc and offer it at cheap price as part of celebration. You can see they seem like giving much less stocks for SG in the recent new models, probably to reduce the amount of stocks so that they don't need to do clearance.
Think the good old days whereby you can get 14T at around $380 and 14T Pro at around $460 are gone.

yeah I recall getting my 14T Pro 512GB at 480+, long gone were those days.

If anyone is interested in getting the highest tier 17T Pro at 1TB, it's available in Malaysia for RM3499. Not sure why Singapore skipped this storage size. Overall, pricing still more attractive in MY even with the current weak exchange rates.

Payment with CIMB debit/credit card also gets an additional RM200 off when i asked at the Xiaomi store in Tebrau City. Malaysia warranty only.

Thanks for the info. The price is still a bit hard to swallow.

Yes, it's quite unfortunate that the ram + storage price increase is starting for all mobile brands now. Those with budget constraints should quickly get their hands on the previous gen models now. Once those are oos, the new pricing is going to become the norm.

15T $599 to 17T $799 is more than ram + storage price
15T Pro was $799

Poco X8 Pro, also using ufs 4.1 + ddr5x ram only raised by $0 (negative $20 if we're counting) and that was in March, well into the ram+storage surcharge era

The strain is clear. Xiaomi’s first-quarter 2026 net income fell 57 per cent to 4.72 billion yuan ($69m)....

and we are raising our average selling price to offset the impact of a reduced volume.”

If you read what the CEO say after Q1 sale drop because of "memory price" they gonna triple down and raise even more and pass on the cost to the consumers

The white version on the normal 17T looks quite nice. Too bad pro doesn't have it.

From Mi website, 17T Pro 256GB gets an additional wireless charger while 512GB gets a backpack instead. Did I click on something wrongly?

Based on this video comparison, the 17T seems better than the Pro version~ 👀

If I can get the Xiaomi 17T for RMB2500 / S$475 in China, is it worth getting?
