I buy not from this seller. My personal view, no shop, any problem, depend only on waiting for response at q&a. I prefer with shop tat u can go down if any issue occur. Some more electronics sx does have non working set issue. The set u see if not the third gen. Third gen can plug direct sdcard. Better specs too

From qoo10 2 seller with shop selling xiaomi. One at sim lim one at rocher centre. The sim lim one don't always open. Must call before go down.. Hard to contact. Rocher that side always can get in touch. Price abt the same.. Make full use of the coupons in q10.. U can get lowest for gen 3 @ abt $99 with coupon used

Qvod kena fine by china.. Dl will be super slow.. Streaming apk for hk drama still available. Depend how latest u want and speed depend apk n ur server.. Can try another thread, there's lot of nice pp posting apk for dl.. I have recently bought Xiaomi Gen 3 android Box.

All the apps/programs that are installed in the box does not work at all
due to slow connection/streaming-> Anyone know how to solve the problem?

Its only 4 gb I only dl a few ep of drama it's full. Unless there apk that dl to USB. So far I dono which apk can yet

Non-rooted..

I managed to install XMBC, PPSTV, etc via the MUI interface..

However, the XMBC seems like not working at all...
I can open it..
I managed to add source to it (linking it to my laptop)..
But it cannot play any video files...

Must I root Xiaomi tv box 2 to get everything to work??

Go to xbmc setting under video under hardware acceleration, uncheck all the option. Your video should be able to display.

I didn't root my xiaomi3, it's working after the steps mention below

Oic.. I didn't get jb version.. I self install apk.. So urs is English.. They didn't have pptv, letv etc?

Yes..is English..have PPTV but not much English movie.

Some of the streaming are either blocked by singtel or service providers. However, there are many that are not blocked.

You may want to install additional apks to see if it is better, I am using singtel and able to streaming properly.

Not all mp4 can play..

Also it is very laggy ..

1080p with xbmc required rooting to play smoothly. I don't know after rooting what is required to be perform in order for 1080p video to play smoothly. Need doctor greychoo liao.
