Pressing and hold home button in homescreen shows them running but when these apps are selected, they start from scratch.

However apps dont get killed when toggling between themselves.

sorry noob question, is there any apk that provides for download option, in addition to streaming? Lagging too badly when watching drama serials via streaming apks like youku and tudou. Thx

Update on mi XiaoMi Box (3rd Gen/Enhanced 4K) unrooted version, XiaoMi MIUI Chinese Interface (Source Tao Bao RMB399)

Updated to the latest FW, this has resolve the issue of streaming video skipping. Video stream smoothly lesser lag compare to before.

Using SH FBB 300Mbs (Dlink DVG-N5402SP Wirelss N router in living room), XiaoMI box located in bed room. Wireless speed tested with XiaoMI Box approx 700kb/s.

Installed apps by copying apk to a thumb drive via the USB 2.0 ports.

The other apps are install using SOFA apps market

Tried the various apk

ICNTV - smooth streaming, MI RC friendly (Default MI apk)
Togic - smooth streaming , MI RC friendly (Live Telecast, apprx 800 channels)
Youku - smooth streaming, MI RC friendly (Movies and Drama is more updated)
SOFA - Good, MI RC friendly (Apps Market)
XBMC - Uninstall do not like the interface
VST - Uninstall do not like the interface
Youtube - Not supported
Google Play Store - Not supported
Movietube - Not supported

guys the xiaomi box enhanced version, inside the setting it shows xiaomi box 2 right? coz it is a enhanced version of box 2

Thanks. So it is less than 0.5kg.
I forgot how much it weigh when I last bought it.

I also take it you did not use 4PX as they charge 43rmb. Which forwarder did you use as they are quite fast.
