According to the box, it stated that 1 GB ram, 4 GB flash rom

Yes. Use 光芒体育 app and watch from astro channels. Free.

but astro channels from guang mang are so low frame rates, jerky after the updated app regret updating them

If you are rooted, simply use the morelocale apk to add english.

The latest firmware 1.3.62 onwards already support English language. Just like how u change language on your android phone do the same on mibox.

Yes, I'm using Unotelly DNS however you need to setup static routes on your router as these services starting to force public DNS lookups.

as a TV box, 1G is more than enough.

2GB is needed for some games, but better to buy game box if want to play games.

The difference btw both is only 2GB version supports Dolby
