Anyone found a way to make use of External storage like SD card to store applications and it's data?

Out of the box you can't install much applications without hitting the storage limit. I installed a game that's 1GB+ in size and it's already on the higher limit.

I was testing out Link2SD however for it to work best, I need to format my SD card as Ext2 format. Formatted it to ext2 but my mi box goes haywire/extremely slow when plugged in. Formatted as FAT32, I can only link the APKs but not the data itself so still a lot of unused storage for my 64GB SD card.

Correct me if i am wrong, i think this requires a root of the device in order to access the developer options which enables all data to be stored on the SD card.

Hi Gregory.
For the 爱视频 , do you have the persistent loading message while the show is already showing?

I can clear it by using the remote. Up key to change channel, then down key to go back original channel.

Which mi box model do you have? the newer models does not come with an ethernet port so you need a USB to ethernet adaptor to do wired then connect it to the router, don't touch the ONT!.

I've tried wired using USB to ethernet and getting half the speed(50mbps) compared to wireless(100mbps) so I don't recommend if you have the latest model, not too sure what's the connection like for the older models with ethernet port though.

Buffering does not always means you have slow internet, sometimes it's just connection to that specific server is bad.

For those interested in buying Xiaomi tv box 3, lazada just lower their price to $79.90. Minus $10 signup coupon, pay $69.90 niah.

Now I need to look for TVB live channel and TVB drama. Any recommendation??

hmm..i can't seem to find that deal anymore..anyone knows if its till on? thanks!

If you meant that the videos are stuttering, then it's your ISP liao and most probably you need VPN since it's China.

Vpn will solve it? Will ensure smooth streaming for Youku?

So far I tried youku on singtel n vqw. Both are jialat.
