I think Xiaomi firmware 1.3.61 onwards blocks 3rd party launcher settings to be used as default launcher.

I saw on Qoo10, too many marketing gimmicks.
Got one seller, the group buy price is very low but have compulsory options for you to select. End up you are paying about the same price as other sellers.

I am now looking at taobao listing but also a bit overwhelm with the search results and the Chinese words.
Shortlist this seller who has a high no. of closed deals.

Don't know if it is a good buy (just get the basic model). Any comment, guys?

I just got the 3rd gen mi box rooted box, and my ios devices does not detect it for airplay. Any help??

Seller suggested reinstalling the firmware, which i think it's a bad idea...

Does the latest Xiaomi Box comes in 2 versions? 1GB and 2GB RAM? Saw on Taobao and Qoo10 listing the 4k resolution version with 2GB RAM but official China's Xiaomi site only list it as having 1GB RAM.
