Qmall from qoo10. Good service. I call xiaomi at china. The box is real de. I bought June, and seller got the stock from xiaomi may. Not much price different actually. Unless u wan to hav English version then u either pay to get it done or u learn from good pp in this forum to DIY. Get enhance version or so call gen3.

Hi all,

I've just received my xiaomi 3rd gen box (jailbroken and lotsa programs installed). Connect via HDMI and tried. Basic navigation is fine but tho this is android i can't seem to find playstore which i can download apps. Seller also included toggle app but while i can open the app, I can't seem to navigate and select the shows i wan to watch. Screen size is also a little no proportionate.

Can someone advise me on the above as well as how to make it easier to use for my parents.

P.S. any apps i can use to watch Korean dramas but re-dubbed in chinese?

OK, $30 is nothing really.

It's 119. But u can use $10 item coupon, $10 cart coupon. And if u have 1000 qpoint. The $30 is offset already. That y I got at $90. Catch the gss 1000 point that time

I got another app which my friend recommend and it was youku and this app suit my Internet and didn't have any issues playing the movies at all now.

I believe not all apps are friendly to our Internet and I been using 兔tv and that is really a nightmare although they have massive data base in movies drama but not stable when I played the movie.

I assume it's cable.. another bro complained that his himedia box does not work with mango tv and he's on cable.. better ask for some feedback first..

I'm on 10mbps red. With xiaomi 3. I feel that it's depend on wat u need to use. I'm very happy with having my box. Apk like fengxin, vst, all oki. Didn't get a mango tv in yet. Xbmc install too...

25mbps is more than enough. I used in malaysia with only 5mbps also no problem. Im using himedia which is not complicated and no need jaikbreak can install anything and no problem to update in future

U can install lots of apps for movie. U have to go read another thread to DIY. If u are not good at that, then u have to pay the seller for jb version

I totally agree it being a POS... the UI is terrible... backside got itchy to switch from MINIX to this POS coz it cheaper than the 8x ver. with similar specs. Now this POS is just sitting there... looking for time to try flashing it with the MINIX 8x FW and see how things goes. My MINIX G4 works better that this POS currently.
