There is another seller Deal with many good comments..total is $$119 + $3.90 delivery..

The remote control case is a jelly soft case, up to u. I didn't get it. Wireless mouse, I use my wired mouse.

Sorry to bother again..I tested and work.. but how to download apps? No apps store?

I totally agree it being a POS... the UI is terrible... backside got itchy to switch from MINIX to this POS coz it cheaper than the 8x ver. with similar specs. Now this POS is just sitting there... looking for time to try flashing it with the MINIX 8x FW and see how things goes. My MINIX G4 works better that this POS currently.

Have not use Minix before but I find the Xiaomi Box3 UI ok.

Regardless, do let us know how your experiment of flashing the Minix firmware on Xiaomi turns out. I will be interested to try out Minix UI too.

You can download apk off the web and install via thumbdrive or over network.

For convenience in the future, just download 沙发管家 from www.shafa.com and install to xiaomi (using the methods mention above).
It is an app store for android TV box.

Some share apk, u can download to ur thumb drive, plug in go to 应用 》高清播放 to install ur fav apk. Read the thread at page 1. They rec some nice apk, like shafa, tuzi, xbmc.. These help u to install apk too..

Oh, so u buy the original wout jb.. Don't worry it's jus like any android phone not difficult.

I bought jb version..but the UI is different from android phone..it comes with some apps like movie tube, USA movie etc...but these apps not much to watch or cannot watch..will try your recommendation..thks again

Oic.. I didn't get jb version.. I self install apk.. So urs is English.. They didn't have pptv, letv etc?

Purchased xiaomi tv direct from taobao china. Really regret buying it coz the streaming is super laggy and slow (practically unwatchable). I am using Singtel fibre. Only thing I can use it is to watch movies from my HDD (it automatically download chinese subtitles for your movies).

Some of the streaming are either blocked by singtel or service providers. However, there are many that are not blocked.

You may want to install additional apks to see if it is better, I am using singtel and able to streaming properly.

I buy not from this seller. My personal view, no shop, any problem, depend only on waiting for response at q&a. I prefer with shop tat u can go down if any issue occur. Some more electronics sx does have non working set issue. The set u see if not the third gen. Third gen can plug direct sdcard. Better specs too
