I managed to find 凤凰质询台 under HDP直播 but unable to play and gain access. Does anybody having the same problem?

Very new to this. I've just got the xiaomi 3rd gen box (jailbroken) from a friend. I was told not to do any software update as it would affect the jailbreak.

When I connect the box, it automatically upgrade to the latest version. I try using "recover mode" to restore back to the previous version. Many of the movies require payments. Whenever I want to load any other shows, it shows 认证失效.

Can someone please advise me on what can I do to restore back to the Jailbroken version?

if you have upgrade to 1.3.53 then you cannot select other launcher (e.g. shafa).... no choice liao unless your friend know how to reload again

you can roll back the firmware by doing this:


1. Power off your box.
2. Power on the box while you still holding down BOTH "Home" & "Menu" buttons on the remote control.
3. Now you should entered the recover mode of the box - Wipe Data / Factory Reset etc.
4. Select Reboot to System One or System Two
*Depends on your box version, some has different options as System One listed as Current & some listed System Two as Current
5. You have to choose the System volume that's NOT listed as current
6. Your box will now reboot and rolled back to the previous firmware version.
It works on me.

Mi3 has SDcard and USBport, should be easier. You can put the file in SDcard or thumbdrive or save in the internal sdcard.

there is a app in shafa, think its 卓面选择器. Can use that to change start up 卓面 and bypass xiaomi one.

I have tried to copy the files to thumbdrive and Micro SD Card but "HPDTV unable to defect the thumbdrive and Micro SD card respectively.

But on top of the TV screen, I can see 移动磁盘 which means thumbdrive and Micro SD card have detected. That is weird.

Can't go back to 1.3.44 already. Both backup and operating OS updated to 1.3.53 already.... I also regretted updating to 1.3.53.... Now only pray that once Xiaomi introduce Mibox into Singapore they update the firmware again. Think will be soon liao either is end of this month of Nov 2014 liao.
