Have done that. Sometimes the installation is so bad that even shortly after first run, before I even finish installing the add-ons, when I select options from the setting screen, it just shows a blank. Then after that, it crashed and restart the first run.

Happened erratically. I thought Kodi 14 would be better than 13, but turned out the same. Sigh.

Mine running perfectly fine no root performed, software version 1.3.65 & my box is 2gb version.

The English official Xiaomi website not updated still showing the older dual-core version.

See HERE for the latest model.

Quad-core 1gb which is what all buyers in Lazada are getting except for 1 I believe.

I have problem with kodi on one of my set too.

try xbmc 13.2 , much more stable

Oh i thought jailbreak/rooting was not required.
I already can install XBMC by accessing my NAS.

Figured i could do the same for YouTube.

I guess i have to follow STEP E only?

my installation never comes with a permission request prompt. Is it because I'm not rooted?

Nope, I tried doing step E without rooting and it didn't work because Xposed Framework requires root access.

anyone able to stream 自定义 channels on togic? added quite a lot latest sources but unable to stream them at all.

I'm a little stuck trying to root the mibox. I refer to the online instructions and I don't get the prompt when I connect the mibox to the pc, can any bro advise why so? I don't understand what's USB驱动 and 调试, is it usb debugging? If so, I don't seem to have the option to enable developer mode, like how it's normally done on phone. Thanks.

Settings -> Account & Security(Star in Shield)
1. Unknown sources: Allow / Deny
2. ADB Debugging: On / Off

If you choose Allow or On for above, will get a confirmation message, choose left button to confirm request.

My settings are as follows:

2. ADB Debugging: On

But I don't get the prompt when I connect. Nothing happens when I try to run the 小米盒子增强版ROOT工具III.bat file also.
