Just only talk about China box... I used to recommend Himedia H7G2 that beat the Xiaomi hands down in terms of features n user friendliness.

Now come the H7G3 with RK3368 that beat the H7G2...

So need not to say much...

I have a problem any advice will be appreciated.
I got a xiaomi tv box and it hang at update. It will load abt 30% then repeat again to about 30% it keep repeating for hours. Any solution to this? Thanks in advance for all reply.

It was stated version 5 when I got it from gmarket

Maybe a stoopid question but is it ok to get the Xiaomi from those Sim Lim Square shops? They all selling for around $99, say everything installed already, no need to configure, etc.

More expensive but at least can go back to the shop if something not working?

Hi, may i know if the new mibox3 (the one w/o sd slot) and mibox mini support VPN in their settings?

Wonder if I should just get the mibox mini since we only want to watch shows, not play any games. TV has no 4K anyway.

also wonder if Himedia H7R3 support VPN too ... since quite a few ppl recommend and it's indeed better in specs compared to mibox3.

Guess u mean Himedia H7G3. Since this is in ur consideration, u can actually totally forget n drop the idea of getting Xiaomi.

H7G3 is on Android, most of the vpn will have application/client that u can install on it. N most can be found in Playstore. How many features the vpn are supported on mobile/tablet/tv box will depends on individual vpn service.

Its not about which box can do what... Its what apps/apks u use.

Dun ever trust any shop that can promise anything about EPL...

Anyone that need good PQ, no lag/buffering, no time shift on EPL, etc... There is only 1 way, PAY....

yours should be the real xiaomi box3, most of us called it mibox gen5.

All xiaomi box has very small internal storage, because the developers at xiaomi think that it is not necessary for users to install additional apps.

If you need to install many apps, buy other brands.
