How is MIUI experience compare to OnePlus oxygen os?

I find navigation gestures in MIUI is more fluid compared to OOS. In OOS my swipe up sometimes is a hit or miss. I like the display on mi 11, Oneplus 8 pro display is too curve.

agree with one of the earlier comments ...

Xiaomi / Poco seems to have opened the willingness in me , or most ppl venturing and trying out china tech phones...

For me I started opening up my opinions and once biased views on china tech phones, starting from Poco and Redmi (used both concurrently one for personal & work) Poco F2 pro and Remi Note 9.

Whilst not flagship level but it did showcase how capable they can be , and also the hardware / software / price value.

Have since moved on to Vivo X50 pro , even more impressive with its camera stabilisation , using mini gimbal technology, great for taking vlogs , and great night shots.

And now i'm considering the vivo x60 pro+ , but still holding up to see what next few months bring... Oneplus 9 pro , mi11 pro/ultra, etc.

oh and did i mention the fantastic charging rates and batt capacity for these chinese tech phones. Much much much more satisfying than the Korean and US brand phones out there now.

not so concerned about battery life durability, charging tech software optimisation (cutoff / trickle slow charge when approaching full), and manufacturing improvements (new Li-Po tech , etc), VOOC & flash charging tech where most heat isolated at the charging head rather than all at the battery itself, etc ... so much more

im not pro chinese or CCP , I'm just one that enjoys all tech improvements and eager to try out new hardware and appreciate tech advancements pushing out every year :D

In short, China tech has more groundbreaking features then western/kimchi. :s13:

But still cannot solve simple app notification delay problem.

This notification issues I believe is subjective to user itself. I don't have any notification delays. You can tweak your phone whatever you like. Just explore all the settings. If still not happy, there's always a custom rom.

Is the FW issue being too conservatives on battery optimization. This time after upgrading the FW even I change all the settings the delay notification still unable to resolve, cannot be the user problem.

Agreed! Sometimes user jumped to conclusion without even trying it first. You just need to explore all the settings.

i have completely exhausted with all the possible setting that cause the delay, unless someone can give me one more magical trick?:s13:

For starters, disable MIUI optimization under developer options. The rest you can call Mr. Google

Hope you can solve your notification issues bro. This phone really smooth. Have a great day ahead!

Haha see? If you read carefully there's post above that if you disable MIUI optimization the settings will be reset.you need to sync your Google account again so your contacts will link to WhatsApp. So simple 😁 then everything will be ok.
