My thought are that it can retail for as low as RMB6088 which is ~SGD1260.

Thus pondering on whether it to get it in. But of cause, must add on GST etc.

Which then again, makes those in shoppee seems more enticing...

Oh well, so much for Xiaomi Singapore

Tempted to get M11U, but now left China Rom sets here. Read through the thread here and many are saying can flash to Global / EU rom.

After flashing from China to Global rom, is there still a difference compared to getting a direct Global set?

Risky / difficult to flash anot ah? I reading through xda, reddit and also youtube, saw many comments like users faced quite abit issues on it. I scare i noob. Nv flash anything before.

Hope experts can advise.

If you first time flash and not very tech proficient, probably better to find local sellers who will flash for you (there are some like that in SG, just need to ask the shop you're buying from).

Thanks on the advices.
I'm watching the guide youtube videos from TOPFONE4U, looks kinda possible to do, but just abit timid to try it on a new phone set if I'm getting one.

Am I right to say that if the China set is flashed to Global rom, i do not need to flash it regularly as I will get updates automatically on the phone? But for EU rom, I will need to flash the updates manually?

Is there any issues on Apps so far on both Global/EU roms, like essential banks, SG govt apps, working apps like microsoft offices....etc?

Thanks thanks. Ya, from reading the thread it seems so that EU needs manual updates. But why EU rom is still preferred ah? The way i see it, Global rom is safer then everyone should be swinging towards it right?

U flashed yours to EU yourself?
Looking through the guide videos like ok leh, unlock bootloader, then just flash the rom. Really so easy? Any pointers to take note?

And all the new sets need to wait 168hrs then can unlock bootloader?

I recall to unlock mi account, there about. Around 5 days if not wrong. Had been a while since I last played it.

But EU rom is faster update based on my own experience.
Has weekly updates or stable version to work with.
