HTC phones used to have real sapphire glass covering the camera lens and was almost impossible to scratch.
nowadays everything is normal glass or fake sapphire glass (iphones)

Phone camera hump protector is not necessary. It will reduce light to the camera sensor, maybe add flares, distortion, colour tinting to image.
Yeah I encountered flare before. And depending on the quality of the protector, it might lower the light transmission. U might not see it as the camera will auto tune iso or some other parameters.

Promotion maybe not. Singapore and Malaysia is kinda of different, Malaysia sold out could be due to flippers. Singapore depends on the phone. Last time during 2014 days where everyone have to snatch it online via xiaomi platform. The hype was real and within a min can sold out. Nowadays even with physical store any new launch just look at the queue can tell how much the phone is worth pursuing. Plus there's so many value for money phone out there many may not want this Mi 11 Ultra immediately.
Just my observation and opinion.

I cannot deny it does affect picture quality slightly. But i rather sacrifice a bit than the camera lens scratch :s13:

Question is how to replace :s22:

Theoretical heat the camera area to melt the adhesive, then use super thin pry tool to cut the adhesive. However most of the video just use flat head screwdriver to scrape the glass since already cracked. Better one remove the back panel first, so that the glass shards and cleaning alcohol will not drop into the camera.

I replaced my mi 9 and mi 10 using hair dryer blow at the crack glass then remove and replace with new one. I guess the same apply for Mi 11 Ultra lol.

Think a normal person cant replace ba.... Too tedious.. will stick to my lens protector instead...
