What's the best price now for 512gb ultra china set? Wonder what's the price diff between 512gb China and 256gb local set.

My experience with Xiaomi China ROM is it does not work well with many apps like Whatsapp, the msgs u receive do *not* notify u, instead after a few hrs u touch your phone, suddenly tons of notifications start popping up like u just got internet.

When I switched to Global rom, everything solved.

I ageee with you, Supersaf definitely gives one of the best unbiased reviews on YouTube. But like what most Xiaomi, Samsung and other Android phone fans will say “The camera will get better in the next update.” It’s always about the next update with Android phones. Hahahahaha...

Yup that is very true ...my real me x2pro no notification one. God damn irritating.....

But heng so far this m11u no such issue...but of coz I'm ready to flash eu when I pull the trigger.

And yes there are still minor irritating stuff to handle...all those bloatware that can be removed , extra step to allow apps like whatsapp to ALWAYS read contact permission etc still ok ba since it's a one off step. The swipe up from home screen for gobal search still still base on China search engine with chinese words. And that can't be removed.....zzzz so maybe will still flash to eu rom. But apart from that ...China rom really nothing much to complain so far.

For those don't mind waiting....go for malaysia or sg when launch. The trade off is basically just the 256gb storage. . The pricing from china will always have a advantage.

I'm guessing local launching price 12gb 256gb pricing will be china 12gb 512gb.

The best of both world is to ship by yourself a china set and flash with eu rom when ready ...but again it's a risk, don't know when eu rom is out and if OTA will work*it should base on my past experiences*....etc plus all the hassle of doing it yourself lol

For those who play with photography....don't expect wonders but it's still a big improvement in low light area meaning indoor ~~~

With a bigger sensor can ....similar isa aka iso say between 600 to 1250 or more which is always around this range at indoor really can tell the difference especially when using primary camera default megapixel which is between 12mp to 14mp when compare to other phone smaller sensor. But please don't tap on 50mp with the primary than shoot indoor and complain noisy *meaning not clear ,grainy or louya photo*

And yup it is 0.5 to 1 STOP over exposure at all situation at least to my eyes la...but I usually use pro mode and my exposure is set to -0.7 to -1 to even it out. So I'm ok with it

I can get set from China. But flashing roms sounds daunting. And I don't know what to do with such stuff.

When I used Jap phones back then. People do it for me.

For such an expensive flagship phone, it is better to wait for global ROM or local SG version. The output from the Ultra cameras do not appear to be significantly better than the competitors using supposedly more inferior sensors. It could be due to the software not being optimised.

I just ordered 350-30 voucher=320. It is a global rom 4G only set. Let's see how it goes.

Don't see a need to pay extra for 5G when Singapore only 50% coverage by end of 2022. By then I got another new phone. 2025 forecast SG will have island wide 5G coverage, by then I would have changed to even another new phone liao lol.

You could switch your China 512gb set to global rom safely? My understanding with my Mi 10 Ultra 512gb was it couldn't be safely switched to Global Rom.

and yes agree with you on China ROM the notifications got issue.

The swipe up from home screen for gobal search still still base on China search engine with chinese words. <-- manage to resolve this issue...now sipe up from home screen is google search insteadof all those chinese app and search engine.

Life is too short, time is limited. This phone while good. Is not outta this world or crazy insane KNN once in a lifetime value. U go get China ROM w/o any real usage by other local users. Really asking to shoot yourself in the foot. There are better ways to spend our time man
