Thanks for the advice bro. No such luck. Still didn't receive any sms. But when I place my sim card into the Mi 11 Ultra. I saw 3 smses that xiaomi sent hours after I needed to input the code. It's already expired. So I resend again and no smses came in. I'm going crazy. Now got to wait 24hrs again. Super sian. Hahahahaha...

I think most likely it's Giga. I created a new Mi account with my phone number. But this time I place the sim card inside my Google Pixel 3XL. Didn't receive any sms too. Sigh...

Luckily I got CN set also. Finally managed to get the verification code. Changed my Mi account recovery phone number to my mum's phone number. The verification code arrived immediately. Must be bloody Giga problem. Hahahahaha. Now got to wait for 1 week. By the way thanks to tckrto and ZhuTou! for the advice. Much appreciated...
