just curious, if the phone is on dual-sim, how would applications like whatsapp or viber actually work? because those applications are kinda tied to a mobile number right?
I have an issue with Whatsapp and Google. I added contacts into google, i can see them in google contacts. But when i open whatsapp, i cant search for anyone. I can receive msg from other ppl, it say no contact, either block or add. I add into existing contact and tried with new contact, it still give me the same message.
Any help?
grant access to contacts permission to whatsapp?
At which setting?
Security - Permissions
It's the 'Prevent Pocket Dials' feature that is activated when something is covering the proximity sensor when the screen is on. You can switched it off under 'Display' in the Settings, iirc.My mi4 after fully charged suddenly stops charging even when plugged in. Later when i take out the charging wire and plug it in it doesn't charge anymore unless i restart the phone.
This gives me problems because i plug in the phone to charge during the night and overnight it charges till it's full but stops charging when it's full and then uses the battery so in the morning i find that my battery isn't full anymore.
I have never ever encountered this with any other phone or electronic device it will charge or use the ac power when fully charged instead of totally switching off the charging power unless i restart the phone.
there isnt any manual of the phone i can find anywhere. Like sometimes when i close the cover it says press the volume down or home button but the msg disappears so quick i don't even know what it is about.
Most likely around July or August.the black colour is more appealing tbh

So the Mi 4i dual SiM feature becomes useless in Singapore come April 2017 when the 2G network is decommissioned?
yeah, but I suppose by 2017 there will be true 4G dual SIM phones by then and people would have switched to newer phone models. So the Mi 4i dual SiM feature becomes useless in Singapore come April 2017 when the 2G network is decommissioned?
