my helper needs a phone. I also feel like buying a new one so mi 4i seems to be ok.

i don't use a lot of storage. I realize i am using redmi note 4g with a 8gb sd card nia.

i watch movies on my ipad

i use it for whataspp. simple browsing.

how is the battery life?

the most is i play hearthstone on my phone when i travel.

If u r playing hearthstone, better stick to your exisying fon. The half an inch, could makes game look small. Once u r used to 5.5", the 5" do look small. The 1 thing gd abt Mi4i is its weight. Its light

the beta firmware feels more laggy. activate camera from lockscreen also buggy. needs more work.

Mi 4i camera is good in well lit environment but picture is grainy in not well lit area. Does not use it for games,just messaging application and video applications. Have not felt any heating issue. 1-3 seconds to open applications. Battery is good for above usage. No problem or delay receipt of messages with WhatsApp, line and Wechat in locked mode. Using samsung note 3 previously. Got this dual sim mi 4i because got a unlimited 3g data card. In stationary 3g can connect well enough to watch toggle and TV anywhere. WiFi connection coverage similar to Samsung note 3. Bluetooth transfer is slow. Can use with otg usb - speed of transfer have not tried. Keyboard from English to pinyin needs 1 to 1.5 second to change - a little slow. Anyone can advise where to check data usage like in Samsung?

hi i just throw away my 4i receipt ... if my hp spoilt doesxiaomi still repair for me ... cos i thought xiaomi same as apple just use imei no to check the warrenty

playing tower dedense games (CoC), just small
play mortal combat x and ok...just small ( used to play on 5.5 or 8.4 tablet)

Now using this fon to go with with google cardboard...for the VR experience.

no need receipt.

they can check imei number to check warranty validity date.

I have the same problem.

if you bought the phone from someone who resold to u.

you can update the owner data when u go to the service center.

Sibei sian, everyday as I use the phone, the phone laggs more and more. Cameras n videos took a long time to activate. Not even multi tasking this time...

I think on average. Xiaomi Miui need to reboot once a week. Miui is really bad in memory management.

just made the jump from samsung s4. first few usage of it, not used to MIUI (why you no app drawer?!). my swiftkey actually lagged and crash (twice), there was some kind of "low memory usage" or something like that. phone feels hot after some little use like instagram/whatsapp

all in all, even though the specs is very similiar to s4, can feel it's a little laggy. and yes, the ram memory usage. at max i can go is 1gb out of 2gb available.

got 5 months to test this phone out, if it still doesn't suit me, s6 here i come hahaha
