have been using 6.6.10 for a while and so far is okay. There is a new feature in the updates - Double tap to wake under display setting. Very useful and convenient feature to use imo :D

But how is it got battery drain ???

just realised that I can't put widgets on the main screen e.g. the weather. Fortunately the weather app provides the weather temp and condition on the app itself. The screen is great, crisp and really good to look at.

Not all Snapdragon 615 are the same. The one on Mi4i is second gen with higher clock speed of up to 1.7Ghz while 1st is 1.5Ghz.

Come on lah, when android m was announced, it is first come out as a preview. When iOS9 announced, it come out with a beta. Both company also did have a big presentation for their announcement.

True, or the note5. People are demanding too much for a budget phone.

Do not think iOS beta push out as OTA to start with. Usually maker push beta/developer version for download to selected user or user willing to participate for testing. Not OTA to everyone! Something you have to make clear.

Great to know you acknowledge not att 615 processor is the same.

Well, user can decide whether they want to flash MIUI Developer ROM. It's not like Xiaomi forcefully install Developer ROM on every Xiaomi device by default..
The main objective of Developer ROM is to let users tryout new features and improve it over the time till it's ready for release on Stable ROM.

When the maker push thru ota. There is a high chance that one may just tap yes and continue. Unless you turn off the auto download. This is a wrong way to push developer code.
Someone already commented in Miui forum. Is more like a Miui 6.1 anyway. The devloper version number continue to us 5.x.x which is a continuation of Miui 6.
Worse is some phone will be on KK with the so call Miui 7. So Miui 7 looks like just another Anriod application.

Developer rom is not enabled by default. Users have to install it manually.

So those who installed developer rom, know what they are doing with their phones

In this case, why will OTA updates be an issue?

Please see the Miui 7 announcement. It will be pushed via OTA to phone model they mention on 24AUG. Unless you disable OTA. You will get it by default.
When you received it via OTA. All you need is one click to start installation. This is different from full recover rom installation.

Those on developer rom then will receive the OTA,

Then later on stable then for the rest of us

China's Mi 4i, aka Mi 4c seems like a higher-speced Mi 4i, with a high-end Snapdragon 808 processor.

Hello!
Keen to get Mi 4i ($319) - 32gb
Was abit disappointed to know this phone doesn't have any extra storage. But overall seem ok to me.

Is there anything I should take note of for this phone? Or should I wait for note 4G instead? Since its cheaper n got extra storage as well. Any advice will be greatly helpful to me. :)
