Between the Mi 4i and G4 Beat, I will choose Mi 4i.
G4 Beat memory only 1.5Gb. Even can consider Redmi 2 Enhanced. Weight is lighter than Redmi 1.

Wah i read so many bad reviews, i just bought a mi4i 32gb switching over from ios, my exp is its quite a gd phone for 319 bucks. i didnt expect it to be as gd as my previous iphone. But it serve wat i wanted perfectly.

Every manufacturer have faulty phones there is no 100% QC abt this. Even when u spend 1k+++ on an iphone there is no guarantee your iphone is not faulty.

My colick's ip6+ sent for repair twice this year. 1st was screen unresponsive, 2nd was phone fails to boot up after upgrading to latest firmware

I've had this phone for 2 weeks now. So far it's been great. Moderate user with SMS, calls and mostly browsing on the trains and office. Battery can last easily a day and a half or more. Doesn't heat up. Generally snappy and responsive. Love the screen, form and light weight.

Something I like about Xiaomi is that the buttons below do not eat into the screen estate. Nowadays not many phones are like this.

realised i should have checked the forums. but anw since the 32gb juz came out in sg (18 aug), i dont think its headed for lazada anytime soon right? cos if i get from lazada maybe can get $31.90 off

32gb is a must considering it has no sd card. otherwise i would get 16gb then add sd card.

Actually Google encourage OEMs to implement on-screen keys to their device, such that users will have an uniform experience on Android.
But then on-screen keys have pros like customizability and cons like smaller real screen-estate.
