Thanks a lot for the info! :D May I know when did you buy it? Saw someone getting it at $263, and am pretty puzzled at that.

Also, global beta shouldn't be an issue, as I plan on flashing a custom rom. Thanks again for the reply!

Anybody having issue with Google play store? Keep stating that it require wlan to dl apps even though I m connected to my WiFi

the $263 i can only guess is qoo10 auction.

Applied tempered glass protector but phone case kept the corners fully stick to the screen.
Anyone has same problem?

I'm looking to get this xiaomi mi5 due to the good hardware specs and its price. Can I check with you guys if this phone is still receiving updates regularly?
And if this phone is able to update to nougat?

Yes, it is getting updates regularly. And it is already on Nougat as of MIUI 8.2.1 :)

Good to hear that. Thinking of this mi5 rather than the mi5s. My main priority is the camera. And I'm kinda doubtful bout the 5s camera superiority over the 5.

Looking around for good deals also.
