After dxomark released mi 9 score, many people spotted that mi 9 video is the first phone to be tested at 4k. This gave it a unfair advantage in resolution that explained the huge different in texture score.

This reviewer compared mi 9 video quality with other top score phones. mi 9 native camera app do not support EIS at 60fps and 4k has reddish tint.

Always have issues with notifications for apps like WhatsApp, telegram etc when on China ROM. Would always go with global ROM for Xiaomi devices.

Review of mi 9 global version said miui will not show new messages in notification bar, it will only show as green dot or number on corner of apps icon.

Something to do with other devices with wide notch.

It's about 700 for a non warranty set.
Imho, can wait for s10 to come down to 800 ,900 range..as it Offer much better videoa and camera , local warranty , SD expansion, handphone jack.
This phone is a good deal at 500 ish. Not at 700 plus.

Bro totally agree with you but from the looks of the current pricing of phone in Sg the phone will be 600-700 with flash sales to bring down to sub 600.

So this phone will be a very good phone if getting it as contract phone from telco

Cheapest S9 at 4gb ram and 64gb storage is S$745.00 right now, with most prices between $800-1000. You will probably have to wait for a year.

Another good alternative would be the Nokia 9 though. The camera system is quite unique. No one will be flashing custom roms for Nokia since they have Adobe and Light.co software bundled.

hmm weird, based on gsmarena, the endurance test gave it a 91H, better than S8.. Im using an S8 now, battery wise, its not bad for the 1st year before it deteriorates

Gsmarena got mentioned the high score was due to sd855 better standby. The score had increase recently after retested, now 95H.

Should be used for gaming. Saw people posted play game used about 70% battery in less than 2 hours. Maybe with 4g and high screen brightness.
