MAJOR DEALBREAKER....

I use it as my fan/aircon/tv remote....

Fan/TV some still can wifi.. but aircon is really IR only.

Samsung aircon has smart wifi control :O

So far, most listing by local shops are for 4/128gb only

I saw some listings which are 4/64gb which made me wonder if those are listings which are slightly misleading (local shop) or purely misleading (Xiaomi Sg)

Got an issue where my DBS Digibank app, after logging in and setting up fingerprint login, after I shut the app (clear it by closing all the running apps) and use it another day, the fingerprint login option is gone.

Wasn't like this on my MiA1, so I'm thinking it's some setting that I missed out.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction


Referring to the screenshots below,
First I open the app and it looks like (1). I log-in and set-up fingerprint log-in and "peek balance" feature. I log-out. Screen looks like (2).
But when I close all my apps, and start the app again, I'm back to (1).

Same problem here. It even messed up my digital token. Chat with the online help and managed to fix the digital token, but fingerprint login gone again after next day.

No such problem on Mi A1.

VoLTE Setting

Anyone managed to turn on VoLTE ?

On Mi A1, there is a HD sign showed up next to 4G, and under Mobile network / Network Settings you can turn it on or off.

On Mi A3, no such turn on / off option, and when I am on a call, the 4G sign switched to H (3G), and revert back to 4G after I hang up. Proof that VoLTE is not turned on.

My telco is M1, and VoLTE worked flawlessly on the Mi A1.

Nope.
Am using the Nova Launcher.
Same as which was used on my MiA1.

Checked the phone at Vivo yesterday, decided not to buy due to the screen quality, will just try to wait for other A3 variant or A4. Really don't know what Xiaomi is thinking for this model.

It was recently on flash sale on lazada mi certified store (lazmall seller) for $299 4 GB RAM 128 GB storage. Stated one year local warranty.

Global/Export set = overseas unit, no local warranty

Look for local manufacturer warranty if you want sg warranty

This is why the pricing varies wildly.

If you are not particular about software updates, a30 edges out a3 in my opinion.
