after using mi max 1 and 3, very hard to switch out to other phones now. for the screen and battery size. hopefully mi max 3 will not be the last model for this line.

need to look for another phone soon as the battery life seems to be dying. any recommendation?

Can the a look at Redmi Note 9S. Largest display and battery in their official lineup so far. Can match Mi Max 3 in that regard.

Redmi Note 8 pro and note 9 pro Max matching our Max3 screen size on paper only. They are actually long and narrow!!!!!

Solid ... You DIY? Just use the tools that came with the battery? Do you need to do soldering? Thanks.

Could you SIC the video clips you saw to change the battery yourself?

pry the white front assembly from the metal casing. start from top left. may seem impossible to separate so u gotta dig it. everything held together by plastic clips

other than battery you need to buy b7000 glue from lazada

Does it has auto phone calls recording like max 3?
Seldom see phones with this feature

Newer Xiaomi phones use Google phone dialer now without any calling recording function. Think still can restore MIUI phone app from old phone into the new phone.

Yah. I really like the recording function. But I have switched to Redmi Note 8 Pro already, it doesn't have recording liao.

Agree. Redmi Note 9 is a good replacement for Mi Max 3.

Bigger display and 5000+ mAh battery.
