MIUI 9 Beta 7.8.31 is the version that worth to start experiencing MIUI 9!

It is getting so much more polished now since the very first release of MIUI 9 Beta rom!

This is an eu rom 7.8.31 based on China rom for Mi Max Prime!

Mi Max 32 users already have the official Global Beta 7.8.31 for them!

**NOTE: eu rom MIUI 9 Beta rom has these 3 values set to 0.5x. I find it to be "overly done"! You lose the beautiful Windows, animation and transition effects at 0.5x! You can change it back to the usual 1x.

This is the first gen Mi Max thread. That said, I'm using Nillkin anti-glare (anti-reflective) film protector for Mi Max. Showing signs of wear (shiny areas) after 3 months.

Can search on Aliexpress. It may be cheaper.

Many stock widgets are still missing. So, must be able to take it. After all, it is a beta rom. Other than that. All mainstream apps are working properly likes Facebook, etc...

I'm okay with this MIUI 9 Beta rom. It is really lightning fast..

You read wrongly lah. All China rom, eu rom have the same WhatsApp custom tone issue.

I do missed the Silent, Brightness, DND widgets on my home screen. That's all coz I always use these 3 widgets. However, no big deal at the moment lah. I can just pull down the toggle notifications bar to use them.
