Can someone help, whenever I turn on hotspot, my WiFi will be disable.is this the norm? Face problem when say using hotspot from my mimax to tether to my tablet when outside, when back home forgot to turn off hotspot, and cos WiFi disable,it can't auto detect home WiFi, hence ate into my data.
You are right. Wi-Fi disabled after turning on hotspot. When I disabled hotspot then the Wi-Fi re-enable on its own.

I already flashed EU ROM without installing SuperSU.

Is it possible to install SuperSU, change some settings that need root, then uninstall SuperSU? All with no data loss?

Thanks.

Can! Uninstalling SuperSU does not touch any data at all. Don't worry!:s22:

Anyway, folks,

After running MIUI 9 Beta rom for so long. I have finally made the jump to the latest Global Stable 9.2.1.0 for Mi Max Prime.

This version is good. :) It's time to "settled down" with MIUI 9. :)

Not going to eu rom Stable. Coz I think the latest Global Stable 9.2.10 has been quite impressively good. :)

Global rom development and quality have been catching up fast lately. :)

My next Beta rom is likely to be running the upcoming MIUI 10 with the upcoming Mi Max 3.:)

after the latestOTA update every single gmail message i receive produces 1 notification. Any way to consolidate into a single group notification like previous roms?

This is a "bug" waiting to be fixed. Can't do anything with it now.

And the Mi video still crashed.. lol..Forum user suggest that to boot to recovery and wipe all data.

Will that wipe the whole phone away ?
