Why don't you just download the fastboot ROM from official source and do a clean flash?

I wanna see what shady apps are installed ma. want to go clean can go any time one.

Just put in the phone and it'll prompt u to format.

lazada deal ends today. last min did a comparison to a number of xiaomi phones, see which one is cheap to buy and try.
as battery life is the top criteria to me, max is still the one.

even playing music through the speaker does not deplete the battery. its the only phone with such performance!

no 1%>11-12mins SOT, no talk!

Hmm not sure about 256, most I've tested was 200GB.

Hi all from newbie Mi max user soon.. still using my first-gen Redmi note b4 upgrading to this godzilla size phone.

Same here ordered a 4/128gb silver from Lazada yesterday, $259 less sgbday3 code+ shopback rebate, from seller newstar, hope to receive it asap to play.. and learn from u guys!

Wonder what version rom it'll comes with.. need to update to the latest Miui or can straight away use liao, hmmm.....

For those new members. Please do a screenshot or just tell us what is your MIUI version once you have gotten your Mi Max after initial set up.

It is very likely to be preloaded with China rom or 3rd party Global rom as usual.

If so, you will need to flash it to official Global rom 8.2.1.0 before you start using it.
