i felt the OS drains battery more than MIUI.
that was why I reverted back to 7. still felt it is the best.

Yah lah, I think so too. Wah lau, downgrade is kind of going backwards leh.

Might as well try Android 7.0. Anybody with Mi Max 32GB tried yet?

yeah does feel MIUI 7 is still the most zippy.
any idea which version is the best?

was using 32gb variant, so my firmware was 7.3.14
now on prime, firmware 7.3.15

i alwayd have the mindset first firmware is the best,in terms of battery life.

It's ok, I prefer 7.1 Android even if 6.0 battery life is better. Can't go back to an inferior 6.0.

Apps to delete content on a lost phone

If not using the finger print as security, which is the

Recently, my Mi Max get the "auto reboot" symptoms.

Any of you get this too?

Same here. If you set sim pin. One will notice it as after reboot, the phone will stay and wait for you to enter pin. Else reboot may went unnoticed.

For me the battery life still about the same 2 days of use.


I'm hoping for something smaller, probably closer to 6 inch, maybe 6.2. Also if they improve the camera, price won't be so affordable liao

lcd replacement is very easy just follow the YouTube video. Takes about 20 min full end to end

I just went to nearby ah Beng shop and he wanted to charge $120

no special tools required just a normal star screw driver and may be a credit card just to take cover out. I am not sure how much it will cost locally simlim has lots of shops that sell the spares. aliexpress will be about 34USD

After upgrading to the latest firmware, the stock Gallery app keep showing this error. The pictures I took, doesn't show up.

why not you try downgrading to 7 and see how is it for the first 10%?

I am trying to find fastboot rom of miui 7 can't find it all links point to miui8 , mine is the prime version
