Hmm.. i thought the benefit of using miui is because of this optimization?

With this optimization can forget about greenify and all other app for optimization?

I still want the optimization but want to exclude whatsapp and telegram..

Betterbatterystats is working fine now after installing it as system apps

The only app that is not working now is appopsxposed which i guess very old and development had been stopped for a while

Probably "overly optimized" for some apps that causing them to stayed sleep?

Not sure. I don't have WhatsApp or whatever apps' notification delay since day one using whatever roms after setting that to off. :)

Also, for certain apps especially radio apps. This setting has to be set to "No Restrictions".

Else, the radio apps will stop half way de.

Shopee is an app that need to be set in that way for its notifications to function.

Your first screenshot in other post showing to turn off in general right? Let me try that and see what is the impact in battery usage

What i do now is turn off for specific app e.g. whatsapp, betterbatterystats, carousell
Like what you showed in 2nd screenshot for kiss92

But seems doesnt work (bug maybe?)

Correct! 1st screen shot is to turn OFF globally. I'm not too particular about battery life as I'm holding a desk bound job which I can recharge my battery anytime.=:p

Basically, as far as I know based on my limited knowledge. 3 settings to fix the notification delay or no-show for most apps (May not be 100% of apps).

1stly: Manage apps' battery usage = OFF it.
2ndly: Apps battery saver = Put them in the "No Restrictions" zone.
3rdly: Put them in Autostart.

So far, Qoo10 always has the cheapest but again there is no promo price at the moment.

So, considered it "not cheap" or not a good buy at the moment.

Currently the price is in the region of $250-$290. Not that value for money for 32 variant.

As long as you flash within and between official Stable / Beta rom. No need to unlock bootloader.

You only need to unlock bootloader if you wanna flash non official / 3rd party rom likes the EU ROM that we have been mentioning here. :)

One more step is to disable miui optimisation in developer mode.

Minimum 9 hours SOT! :eek: I guess that it is very likely that those people hardly "use" their phone after unlocked the screen siol!

Anyway, don't ever used Lineage ROM. It is laggy likes hell on Mi Max! :(

I am using lineage rom by Nigel. It's better than miui and faster.

I have switched off the MIUI Optimization with my eu rom 8.2.3.0 Stable.

Let me feel the improvement.:)

Me itchy backside tried to downgrade the rom to 8.1.9.0. Ended up everything corrupted. Now moved to global beta 7.4.27.

What is best way to back up the phone without root?
