Just realized today.. lineage OS is causing issue for my set :(

Sim card can connect to 3G but can not make outgoing call.. when people call me it is connected but my phone shows nothing :(

No sms incoming and outgoing also :(

Tried to flash multiple firmware including dirty flash ROM doesnt help also

Last try is to extract firmware from EU Rom and flash it later @ home

Hmm.....:s31::s17: That was badass!:o

I guess that the only choice is the eu rom if Lineage doesn't work well with our networks but you are to stick with MIUI! :o

Quite tempted to switch. Is it worth it considering I'm migrating from a Redmi Note 3?

First thing first.

Mi Max is huge to be carried around and inside your pants pocket and you need a deep pocket for its length.

Coming from Redmi Note 3, likes me too. It is a giant upgrade in term of physical size.

Any problem for you on that?

If yes then, don't buy it. If no, then buy it now before the stock allocation for $319 is being snapped up.

Personally, I have gotten use to the huge size and easy for me to manage it in whatever situation.

The bigger screen size is the main draw for me followed by the 4/128gb. My pockets depths is quite deep but won't be able to use a flip case. Only the 1 month warranty sort of bugs me

That's good to hear! :)

For a piece of mind! You can spend a little extra for extra few months of warranty lah! The most important of all, is you must be happy and feel safe with your purchase!

Having said that. It all depend on luck but again, as I have said before. The quality of Mi Max has been rock solid! It has been proven here by all buyers! :s22:

the built not as good as you described.
previously, my Max hit the metal locker and the little impact caused a slight dent on the side.
maybe like 10cm distance of impact.

Oh! =:p What I mean was the quality control of the Mi Max fresh out of the factory has been good! :s22:

I should not have used the word "Build quality"! Wrong choice of word used! :D:s13:

Try if you can recover using any of the 4 method posted here.

thanks man it works !

but I adapt it to my own way

1. go to twrp recovery
2. mount system
3. open terminal then run this command

rm /data/system/gatekeeper*.key

back to MIUI for now :( until someone reply me for Lineage OS issue
