why not? especially if the price might be the lowest you can find! not talking about new set.
I started out with a preowned set.got it at $250 last year august. my ever first xiaomi product.

so cheap and a great buy at such pricing.

I am still keen to buy if you want to sell. Main reason is cause i know nuts about changing the os.

I'm sorry that unless xiaomi releases Max 2, don't think I'd sell it. have spent so much time on rooting and tweaking the phone. so many times of factory reset after I have disabled some components which crippled the phone.

Just notice a stuck white pixel on my local set.After few months of usage. Does xiaomi service center change screen? Or im better of sourcing on handphone shop.

should I get the 3/32gb mi max or samsung tab A 7" (2016) 1.5GB

mi max has double the RAM and higher resolution for a slightly smaller screen size.

Tab A at $250+ has 1 yr warranty ... similar price mi max maybe 1 month

Try to backup using twrp everytime you want to make major change in system so that you can restore to previous state

My set of backup is
1. Twrp backup
2. Whatsapp (using titanium backup pro)
3. Sms and contacts backup

The rest i dont need latest backup i sched weekly backup using titanium backup pro

Btw i also always keep one vanilla installation (with minimum settins are done such as alarm, sounds, display, etc) twrp backup for each ROM that I like

Okay shop only at typical Orchard Road area! Few complaints from some buyers here about the altitude of sales person.

If I'm not wrong. Their sets are preloaded with China ROM and they don't entertain you to flash to Global rom!

Anyway, its price is not the cheapest as far as 32GB is concerned.

Basically you can create label and then schedule regular backup (can choose between app only or app & data or data only)

Twrp backup you need to do manually.. or if you are techie.. you can use Tasker to create script to automate backup

Bootloader must be unlocked first and then follow by installation of TWRP via Fastboot mode, then install the EU ROM zip via TWRP. Bingo! Happy forever after 15 minutes.

All the brief steps can be found on EU rom web site.

Can refer to my steps 2 pages back to get the idea of the whole process.
