Miui 7 now is 7.5.6.0 latest

Darren is on China stable rom bah...

So, he has to flash to global stable rom before he can update to global developer rom

Or he can flash to global developer rom straight from China stable rom.

i just ordered one for my father as well. advisable to flash to latest rom or just use it off the box? Plus, he is chinese user, should be okay right, since all phone support mandarin..

So far miui7 7.5.6.0 is ok... Except no fingerprint take photo. Very responsive compare to note 3....mi max is only abt 1 cm taller and 1 cm wider then iPhone 6s plus so should be pocketable.

My mipcsuite cannot detect mi max 64gb, anyone face it?
I am running on latest China rom

it takes very long to charge it full with my normal lg 1.8a charger..

any cheap quick charge 3.0 charger to recommend?
