Hopefully this is an isolated case & not another batt-gate crisis again. I just bought Max today to stand-in for Note7!
The other incident on Mi4c burned in pocket is much more scary. I did a search on weibo 小米4c爆炸. It comes up with couple of explode incidents. There's one boy who burned his thigh, nearly burned his kkj. There's also couple of explodes while charging. From now onwards, I will be caution with my phone.

Yes for the global ROM and already updated to the latest 8.
Believe they do sell local sets too as he was asking me if I wanted to buy the one with warranty. Believe it is 335.

Don't worry. Just got the cover accurately and press it around the seams. It will Snap back.
phone was in power off mode while charging
gets very hot so unplug charger
try to take out the tpu case n abrkadabra, whole back piece opens up...
sian siol . . .
in hk now, mayb send for repairs there . . .

Tried before. No issues with 128GB mSD on my MiMax, but must be in FAT32 format. Does not support or detect mSD cards formatted in exFAT or NTFS (same for all other Xiaomi devices). Hence, file size on the mSD card limited up to 4GB only. Damn wasted can't put in 1080p vids to watch on the move to enjoy the awesome large screen!

i using mi note. after playing certain game for 30min + the top part of the device can heat up quite a bit.

I see most of you guys bought export sets? Any issue besides the 1 year warranty? I am not really a techie so would not venture into flashing the phone. So hoping that the lazada export sets are global rom?

You will have to check if the seller is selling the Indian set.
Otherwise, you may want to get the local set instead.

Depends on seller within lazada. Mine from seller smartcell was china set that they flashed with global rom, so no issue. They also have india sets from time to time, so either way you're covered. Not sure about other sellers
