those who bought the export set, if it spoils after the 1 month warranty period from the shop, can it be repaired by Xiaomi Singapore service center?

Used for so many month and the phone had no issue at all. Warranty it just a gimmick

TWRP

dunno if missed sthsomehwere.

Installed TWRP, Press Vol up+ power, does NOT get me to TWRP, instead to the picture showing connect phone to usb.

Need to go fastboot to run boot recovery.img to enter TWRP (about 20 secs wait). Isn't there any way to TWRP without PC?

After flashing twrp via fastboot, do not reboot to system. From fastboot mode, just hold vol+ & power button to directly boot to twrp recovery. You can reboot to system thereafter.

Can, but not covered under warranty. So, gotta pay retail rate.

Actually, I find the silver model for the xiaomi series a bit dull. If it's like the Acer aspire s13 white it would be a lot more attractive. I think the silver model in china is not really selling that well. Somehow paying more than 1k for a laptop with no warranty.. If got problem really LPPL

Yes, just flash again and then follow the steps.
When in twrp recovery, immediately flash su, do not do any wipe at all, and reboot to system. You will have custom recovery and root.

Mi Max 64gb running on MIUI Global Stable 7.3.14.0 (Custom Rom?)

Any miui-xpert, manage to update to Miui 8? (China ROM?)

Any advises would be appreciated.

I just got my 64gb yesterday! Am running on MIUI Global Stable 7.5.6.

1) Is it normal to run on this? Is this the China Global?
2) How come my box serial number different from my phone? Imei is the same. Is it normal?

Which rom are you on in the 128GB? Do you get the low volume problem and late notification bugs?

I got convinced by the fellow users here and bought a 32GB global rom one. Very happy with the phone and didn't dare to upgrade to MIUI8. All functions are working very well now.

running China beta 6.9.22 with all Google installed ,sound OK ,notification at first yes will delay ..after turn off MIUI optimise and turn off MIUI battery saving den OK liao .
