Micro SD Card for Xiaomi Mi Max 32G

I just bought a Xiaomi Mi Max 32G phone from Singtel on Combo 2. Loved the set and had it updated to MIUI Global 8.0 Stable (8.0.1.0(MBCMIDG). Insert a Sandisk Ultra 32G microSD and it is working with no problem. Then I decide to try using a Sandisk Extreme 128G microSDXC UHS-ICard (which was formated to fat32 and had been working in my Samsung Tab S). This time，Xiaomi Mi Max could not detect the Sandisk Extreme microSD card despite several trials. Could some kind users/experts please help me or share their experience on using microSD card (Brand, type or max size) on this phone? Thanks in advance.

I using sandisk 128gb no problem... $100 save from 300 is more then 30% off.. Definately worth it.

May I know your Sandisk 128G microsd card used successfully in Mi Max is which type - ultra, ultra plus, extreme, or extreme pro? I could not get my Sandisk Extreme 128G microsd card to work in Mi Max?

So the MI MAX 128gb version renamed as "PRIME"? 400+ is 100 more than 32gb local set.

To be exact, $200 more. Current Mi Max is around $249 +/- depending on where you buy.
Btw, I believe is going to be around $400 or less for parallel imported set. This means if you are going for local set @$345. You must well wait for the 128G parallel imported version. Same situation as current Mi5 local set vs parallel imported set!

Hi, has anyone experienced the touch screen not very responsive?

I am running miui 8 and using 2nd space feature cos i have a work sim and personal sim. I use this feature because i wanted to seperate my contacts.

But i hit a problem. I realised my sms record can only be retrieved in main space despite the message was meant for space 2.

Anyone has solution to this? TIA

I have it set to High accuracy mode, and it locks on pretty fast outdoors. On par with my other devices.

It arrives sealed, but obviously they sealed it after they opened it to flash the global rom first.

Hey ... when I try to go into the recovery mode... the screen just showing the phone and a plug in cable picture...... no other option liao .....

How to move around huh ?

Apply for bootloader unlock then flash the official firmware. Had this issue with my Mi Max as well.

That's because you get "located" by WiFi first.

I using the phone with the so call custom rom , so far stable and no issue.. just wonder should I still go and do the MIUI 8.
