Coz yours is a modified rom. It is an unauthorized or unrecognisible firmware. Now you see the big problem of such modified rom...
Swee!................ I downloaded the latest miui_MIMAX652_V8.0.3.0.MBDCNDG_ca79ab4112_6.0

And it verify successfully liao ...... ask me to erase and upgrade ..... but think of have to redo the whole phone for the next few hours sianz half....

Maybe weekend then try ...

Actually bor problem just that the correct ROM not out .... not what you say big problem of such modified rom..

hardly heat up when watching movie. I used the AcFun app to watch HK drama for 3 hour and cast to my TV with no issue on heat.

Only left gold.. Still wanna know if the phone will heat up alot when watching movies or playing games.. Anybody can comment?

i don't really play games on phone but when my kids use my phone to play pokemon go, i do notice it heated up after they play for around 30minutes as the phone pop up a message to advice to cool down the phone (no idea is it because they play under the heated sun)

U got play game with it before? Any heat issues?

Yeah ........ MUIU is the interface and some build in apps updated right?

I have install the phone with Nova interface which I like better... perhaps not moving as afterall not using the MUIU...

Correction.. For the qoo10 $50 off is minimum purchase of $300 and above.. Sigh shld hoot and replace my z3+?

Just in case you gotten into bootloop mode after using phone updater....... I suggest you download the fastboot rom also.... if bootloop-ed..... at least can use my method for flashing..... actually to be on the safest side will be using my method for clean installation.... but up to you...

Hi, do we need to decompress the zip or tgz files before flashing?
I tried your method on Windows 7, the drivers all failed to install even after I allowed the permissions.

yes, you will need to decompress aka unzip it the fastboot rom....

did you install both official and beta miflash????.....

But if I use recovery mode from the updater, do I need to decompress the file in my phone?

Yes, I installed both to try but both don't work.
