We most likely to recommend you mi max over it since it is snapdragon based..... bigger battery.... bigger screen...

But then..... wait u get mi max le.... you probably gonna u-turn/prata like our infamous bro due to screen big... cannot fit into pants... *puns intended*

I find Mi Max design is much more refine than Note Pro.

I can be quite fussy abt my phone but this is what i observed on Mi Max
1. the vibration level is just nice. Note Pro vibration is either too strong or too weak
2. although heavier, the weigh distribution of Mi Max is comfortable
3. comes with official M rom

Yeah the size in pants pocket can't be overstated here. It might fit into some but it won't fit all particularly if you like skinny jeans! I end up carrying in the hand using an iRing now.

1. did it keep rebooting??... i.e. u will feel vibration....

2. did you install twrp and flash from it??... it's prone to stuck at mi logo after flashing from what i read...

if no.1 is true, then your set is bootloop-ed...

else if no.2 is true, then i suggest you go clean installation....

else if both is false, tell us more.....

i have no experience on no.2... since I do use twrp before... mostly is flashing xiaomi.eu rom and updated roms.... my official global is via my own method... which means clean installation without twrp anymore...

i followed the offical miui thread for flashing procedures and i looked at yours too.

i dunno what may be wrong with the flash..

1) i had the xiaomi flash program (back when i flashed miui 8 CN)
2) my phone is already detected as the qualcomm USB thingy..
3) i unpack the rom from miui
4) i point to the right directory on my pc
5) my phone is detected as 6bXXXX instead of COM10 or 30 like in the demo pictures
6) i left the flash on at 1am.. woke up at 4am to check... still flashing...
7) check phone.. boot looped

Export set come either 2 wks and 1 mth warranty. asking 220-280.

No worry.... just use my guide.. just make sure miflash beta show the "COM" things.... make sure u use fastboot rom.... you should have no problem....

Export sets is risk seller flash modified rom. Now only 32gb got global rom. 64 and 128gb only China rom. If u get export global rom 32gb it is exactly same as local set but wo warranty. Warranty to me is redundant. My past few phones all export except note3 all no problem after 1 year

Well... i only use miflash beta for my method... some say can use the stable miflash... so... not sure since i no try the stable miflash....

But.... it can be many problems arise to that... maybe he never use the vol+, vol- and power button mode (black screen) and use the normal fastboot mode........ maybe cable is faulty/dirty..... maybe usb port is sot/dirty....

Black screen (Fastboot mode) method has been successful in every of my flashings between Global Stable and Global Beta using the official MiFlash!

Download and use the latest version of official MiFlash. Don't use beta anymore after the latest official MiFlash was released as per MIUI Team weeks back! In fact, the MiFlash Beta has been discontinued likes the Note 7!
