How come all the phone shop do not have trade in value for Mi Max? Mi Max nobody want or no trade in value?

Is the Mi Max Export Silver, which is cheaper, perform the same function and as good as the non-export one?
Pls advise.

Btw, Xiaomi website no longer can buy Xiaomi phones online? Now totally taken over by Lazada for online purchase?

Of course, it's the exact same device. Within the same model, hardware all same.

Only differences between export and local set are:
1) One has local warranty, one doesn't.
2) For export sets, depending on which seller you buy from, it might be china or global rom. Most of us seem to go with Smartcell for guaranteed global rom out of the box.

Somewhat, yes. It looks they they moved to sell on the Lazada platform of their own accord, so it's not accurate to say 'taken over by Lazada'. Perhaps it was getting too tedious to manage their own e-commerce.

Is it safe to buy by credit card, debit card, or cash on delivery when doing online purchase of Xiaomi Max Phone online?

All Mi Max in 3 telcos, Challenger stores and Xiaomi store at Suntec are confirmed global rom with Google and Playstore installed siew siew with local Xiaomi warranty out of the factory and out of the box. :)

Nothing to worry. :) Quick quick quick go buy now for your parents. :)

The price for 32GB is $349 with 1 year official warranty. but if you can live with shorter warranty provided by seller, the price can be cut by $100 or more. FYI, I bought mine for $194 during 11:11, after $30 discount with one month of seller warranty.

Your best bet is wait for 12:12 offer or if they join BF, this Friday. hopefully there will be $50 off $300. even then, you are looking at nearly $300.

Alternatively, Lazada MY have seller provide 1 years of warranty(not sure if official or seller) for ~RM800.
