I really hope that someone can help .. try using the MI pc suite. Doesnt detect the phone. Haiya really afraid the phone might be bricked. Now on Chinese ROM mUI 8 ... Really hope that it can be flash to global rom so it be in english and can install google play store.

Why not just go buy an iPhone? 3 messages after you post for help, I already posted an alternative (and much easier way) to upgrade MIUI via the Updater Tool in the Tool folder. Are you just plain waiting for fellow forummer here to pm you and offer to help you? Then indicate in your post that you will not be checking for replies, so I don't have to bother to post.

If 64/128 is only for China market, doubt there'll be, other than unofficial from xda/miui forums or likes.

just to check, the sets from smartcell, did it come with a free tempered glass protector? i thought i was told there would be one but mine doesnt have one. or is it must get from the physical shop then have?

Mi suite doesn't work.
If you are just looking to transfer files, when you connect the phone to the computer, look for a pop up message on your phone. Click on it and select transfer files.

Firstly, are you using 32GB set? Because there is no Global ROM for 64G/128G versions.

Next, the Updater Tool doesn't work for updating China to Global (at least it didn't work for me). You need to use MiFlash Tool for that.

Refer to instructions from URL below.

Just make sure to download the tgz image file and extract using WinRar or 7zip. Install the Mi PC Suite for the drivers to detect the phone.

Thats right. The method dont run 100%. Is really depend on you pc os system and patch level. Just like Miui, is really full of bugs. Not every users has sucessful story.

Heard from my friend who bough from them. You can buy case and tempered glass protector. However, the protector seem smaller than the screen size so he did not use it.
