I use dolphin, enable jetflash in settings, click the video expand button (or double-click on small video) to go fullscreen. You'll see/ click 3dots option at top-right corner, to 'open in other apps', where you can choose Tubemate or best, Es-downloader, and it'll download in the background, while you continue watching or off your screen.

Liveleaks, YouTube, Facebook,JAVs and most websites, all works. Only those that can't go fullscreen, cannot be downloaded.

I also wonder how you download an embedded video in chrome, teach me.

Goto Contacts > Menu > Display preferences > Show SIM contacts

if it still doesnt work, lock the application at RAM. and go to security app, app saver, installed app, browse to that app, it should be at miui saver (recommend) setting, change it to 'no restriction;.

Security - at top right (setting) - Battery usage - 2nd option is clear cach when device is licked (default is never).
As far for my experience. It will still close after sometime unless you lock the application by pressing the taks list button (most left to hime) - swipe the application to bottom of screen to lock - you will see a small lock the nexf time you press task list button.

Go to :

Security > Settings > Battery usage > Set "Clear cache when device is locked" to 'Never'

this will remove the apk being auto close which could be the reason why it will not complete the download.

Yes, this happened to me 2 days ago after I rebooted the phone. I am on Miui 8 bete. It first accepted my password after the reboot. After it completed the process, I was asked to key in my pass code again. It did not work this time and even after a few attempts. I was then asked to wait for 1 min. There after, same thing happened, asked to wait for 5 mins. I tried to shutdown and reboot the phone to bypass the 5 mins but still have to wait for 5 mins. This time, I key in the passcode again, it worked. Since then, I only reboot the phone today, everything thing was alright. Really weird.

connect your mi max to your pc, put your mi max into developer mode, make sure you have adb/fastboot drivers install. run the following command prompt commands

adb shell
mount /data
rm -f /data/system/locksettings.db
rm -f /data/system/locksettings.db-shm
rm -f /data/system/locksettings.db-wal
rm -f /data/system/gesture.key
rm -f /data/system/password.key
reboot

This phone the volume output via 3.5mm jack soooooooo soft! I try using earphone and headphone also super soft. I can even hear the person talking beside me. Already on maximum volume . Try playing around with eq also no use leh. Any bros got advice? This phone not bad leh only volume too soft. Using youtube,spotify. Sian

inside dolphin settings, you'll be prompted to dl 'jetpack for flash'. So how you dl from chrome?.
