It depends on the phone and not the rom. So if your phone can flash, then can flash to global.

For mine, the backlight looks okay on the menu and home buttons, but quite faint on the back button.

A quick review after using 3/32gb mi max for a week+.
Battery, yesterday til today was by far the best, unplug from charger yesterday morning ard 745am, now still left 32% as im typing. Mostly call, whatsapp, surfing, email, and play transformer earth war. Really great battery. Even on a really heavy usage day, im still left w at least 40% at 12am.
But graphic lose to sony z5p n asus zf2, not able to generate sone effects on transformer earth war (the only game i play).
Am still getting use to miui interface.

I understand a few max users dropped their phone and cracked the lcd screen, me too. Anyone got the lcd replaced and how much? Any lobang for cheap lcd replacement?

You managed to unlock your bootloader so quickly? I applied for unlock on Sunday and received the SMS immediately. Unfortunately, I am facing the unable to verify device problem that many are facing. Mi Unlock gets stuck at 50% with the error saying the account is different. I only have one Mi device and verified it on i.mi.com. I can see my device using fastboot device so I assume that means my drivers are OK.

Did you face any issue? I have been wanting to flash RR as well.

I just bought a Mi Max 64GB version and it comes with global rom 8.0.3.0(MBDMIDG).

Can anyone share how to flash to China stable rom miui8?
