the new firmware is good... phone drop only 1% battery overnight.. from 2am to 10am... wow

Just upgraded to latest miui 8 global 6.11.17 BETA. The SIM card usage keep say exceeded. Anyone with similar issues

I've checked. For Ocean Breeze, the slide down menu is not grey like yours leh. It is white.

Finally receive the Mi Max after TQB "kidnap" her for 5 days touring around the island.

I had Sony Z Ultra before so the size doesn't surprise me. playing with it for few hours without SIM card, no bad, didn't experience any lag or inconvenience cause by MiUI compare to standard Android UI, guess its mainly because Google Apps was installed out of the box. Except without app drawer, I don't find any difference compare to my favorite SenseUI. Fingerprint scanner is fast, as well as UI, it actually had more option than HTC Sense, lol. :)

BTW, the box is sealed but I found UK 3 pin charger with SG safety mark!

I know box can be sealed back without trace, so did the seller replace it for us and at the same time install GApp or this is local SG set? :eek: I watch the India set unboxing, they are have 2 pin, India actually doesn't use UK Type G 3 pin a.k.a BS 1363, they use Type C and D mainly, Type M for high current.

BTW, get yourself some QC charger, the stock is only 2A@5V. from my finding, when phone is on, it never draw more than *Wrong info* 1.3A@5V or about 6.5W *Wrong info*, It can do ~1.7A@5V from stock charger. With QC3.0, it was drawing up to 1.73A@9.08A = 15.77W, tested when it was upgrading to Global 8.1.2.0.

Although when battery is ~65% or more, it drop to 1.47A@6.48V = 9.5W.

At lockscreen and below 65%, it can do ~1,5A@~8.5V or 1.45A@~8.75V, with a max power of ~13W drawn.

I recommend Tronsmart charger like Tronsmart W3PTA 3 port -- 1x QC3.0 + 2x 2.4A that support Apple ipad/iphone 6s+. Tronsmart WC1T single port charger is also good but the price is only $2 cheaper, the 3 port offer more value.

Maybe wait for Lazada on 12:12 or if they join BF and offer similar price as 11:11.

BTW, I bought it from Swooop@Lazada SG for $194 after $30 discount. IMO, this is even better deal than Acer Predator GT-810@$100. I might get another set if price is as good as Single Day offer. :D
