Yeah, just wait for Xiaomi to list on their Tmall store~

Sales should start very soon after tomorrow's announcement, as there's reports that Xiaomi has prepared enough stocks for the incoming demand.

Xiaomi is starting to follow the footsteps of Samsung with their "too many" models and too fast changing of some of their key models.

The Mi and Redmi (Hong Mi) series is getting a bit complicated for the everyday man on the street to look out for.

Then they bring in the Redmi Note series, with the 2/3MT/3SD/4 coming in a short span of 1 year.

They should stay more focus on max Highend 1-2 flagship and also 2-3 mass market phones and also keep a standard product life cycle of 1 year to ensure that their new product has some differentiation with the previous one.

Indeed, I do agree that the current lineup may be confusing for ordinary consumers.

However, the reality is that the mobile world is progressing at a very competitive stage and that to stay relevant, each company must produce a mobile phone regularly such that they are not 'overtake' by other competitors.

This is highly relevant in the China market, where their local phone companies are very competitive on releasing new phones at a very fast pace. Xiaomi is considered slow for now, as other companies are way faster than them.
