Pls update to 4.4.4 latest. Rumor MIUI v7 based on lollipop announcement next month. Mi note will be first to get update.

No lah, they trying to change their operation mode to a 'always available' sale mode aka. open sale.

Looks like the QuickCharge 2.0 on Mi Note will be under-utilized if were to use the charger that came with it. Better to look for QuickCharge-compatible third party chargers, eg. Aukey for full QuickCharge 2.0 performance.

Regarding the quick charge, I think the wall charger provided is quick charge compatible, coz I noticed the charger output listed 3 settings, 5V 2A/ 9V 1.2A/ 12V 1A

The usb cable is also thicker than normal with a electric symbol at the end.

Nevertheless, I feel that Mi Note does charge up much faster as compared to my redmi note 4g
