I got the clear tpu casing from a guy in carousell. Fits perfectly and its ultra thin at 0.3mm.
Got direct from mi china. note and note pro are same externally. Difference are CPU SD801 vs SD810, ram 3GB vs 4GB, screen full HD vs qhd.
Note pro got nfc or not ah ??
My initial verdict after 2 day's usage. Only used the phone for browser, whatapp, less than 30mins of IP cam monitoring over WiFi. Battery left on average 18% by end of day. Disappointment.
As I keyed in this, my battery had dropped 4% over the last 30min on 3G. Am on dual sim. Battery life doE's not seems to b very good. On the latest stock firmware.
The keying of text is at least much smoother than mi4i on forums, no laggs.
My verdict is completely opposite.
Day 1 first full discharge lasted 5 hours SoT over WiFi with a total of 18hrs total up time.
Day 2 lasted 6hrs 15hrs SoT over WiFi with a total of 25hrs total up time
For pure 4G usage, lasted me over 4hrs SoT
810 is full of fail with the overheating and big power consumption plus quad hd is a recipe for low battery disaster. Alot of mi note pro users are whining about the abysmal battery life.
It seems like a minor upgrade from MIUI 6 IMO, maybe naming it as MIUI 6.1 might be better.I just updated to MIUI 7 and wow it's much faster when launching app. The 25% improvement in battery yet to be seen. But after all MIUI7 is a big disappointment.

my two cents.

In miui 7, under display there's a function to lower down resolution to save battery. Note pro can change to 720p

But it still use same amount of battery to run the qhd screenIn miui 7, under display there's a function to lower down resolution to save battery. Note pro can change to 720p
why would one to do that? 2k QHD screen running at 720p![]()
